What TouchPoppy keeps, and why
Effective September 5, 2026. TouchPoppy is made by PeopleStar Enterprises, Inc. This page says in plain English what we collect, where it lives, who can see it, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
- Your account. Your name, email address, cell number (if you give it, for reminders), time zone, real estate license number and state, and your plan. Sign-in is by a one-time email code or by Poppy ID; TouchPoppy never stores a password.
- Your clients. The names, phone numbers, email addresses and notes you enter about the people you represent, the listings you attach to them, and the showings you log. You are responsible for having the right to store this information.
- Your notes and touches. The notes you type or dictate, the record of texts and emails you mark as sent, the drafts TouchPoppy wrote, and the weekly reports it built.
- FilePoppy's record, if you link it. When you link a client to a FilePoppy transaction, TouchPoppy reads that transaction's text messages and emails, read-only, to draft updates and show the timeline. It never writes to FilePoppy and never copies the record anywhere else.
- Usage. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security and troubleshooting.
How drafts are written
TouchPoppy uses an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) to write suggested texts, emails and report narratives from your notes, showings and, where linked, the conversation record. The model sees only what is needed to write the draft, and Anthropic does not use API data to train its models. Every draft is reviewed by you before it reaches a client.
Messages
TouchPoppy never sends a text message to your client. Texts open on your own phone, in your own Messages app, and you send them. Emails to clients (including the weekly Seller Report) are sent by our email provider under your name only when you approve them or on a schedule you set for a listing. If you turn on reminders, TouchPoppy texts you, and only you, at the number you entered. Reply STOP to any reminder to end them.
Where it lives
On servers in the United States operated by PeopleStar Enterprises, Inc., encrypted in transit and at rest on disk. Our providers: DigitalOcean (hosting), SendGrid (email), Twilio (reminder texts to you), Stripe (payment; we never see your card number), and Anthropic (drafting). Each receives only what its job requires.
Who can see it
You, and anybody you add to your team on an Executive plan. Our staff see account data only to support you or to keep the service running, and never to read your client notes for any other purpose. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, ever.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open. Delete your account from Settings and everything above is removed within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax, billing or legal reasons and the anonymous log that a deletion happened. Weekly reports already delivered to a client's inbox are theirs.
Your choices
- Edit or delete any client, note, listing or touch at any time.
- Turn reminders off in Settings, or reply STOP.
- Unlink FilePoppy from a client at any time; the bridged record disappears from TouchPoppy immediately.
- Export your clients and touches as a CSV from Settings.
- Delete your account from Settings, or email us.
Children
TouchPoppy is for licensed real estate professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18.
